The Shimmy Shake Festival started in 2013. Every year, on the first weekend of November, Tribal and Fusion Bellydance took the spotlight during this international Festival in Rotterdam. International stars and national top-dancers performed on stage and provided workshops. All of this to raise awareness of this amazing dance genre in the Netherlands and inspire people to pursue their own fusion bellydance dreams.
