The Shimmy Shake Festival 2020 will go on with the following HOUSE RULES.

 

The festival will take place strictly following the guidelines of the RIVM Covid-19 protocol. At all times remember the 1,5 meters distance and use hand sanitizer. Wear a mouth mask while entering or moving in the theatre (hallways, toilets etc.). You can take if off during shows and workshops.

 

The following rules apply to make the visit as safe and pleasant as possible for the audience and our employees:

 

The main rule

Did you have one or more of the following symptoms in het last 24 hours?

• Coughing
• High temperature
• Short of breath

Have you had the Covid 19 virus in the last 7 days, and is it over now? Is that established at a lab or by a doctor? 

Have you had contact with either a roommate or family member with Covid 19 in the last 14 days? Or while they still had symptoms?

 

If you can answer one or more of these questions with a yes, we are very sorry but then we can’t admit you into the festival. But we look forward to seeing you at our events in the future!

 

Gala Show & Matinée Mash-Up

Due to the regulations the number of tickets for the Gala Show and Matinée Mash-Up is limited to 30 visitors per show. We therefore recommend that you order tickets in advance via the website to be sure of a place.

During the shows you are only allowed to sit next to 1 other person from your own household. If you are going with someone else, book separately. Family members can sit together.

Please note that we can only place a maximum of 2 members of the same household next to each other. If you book 2 tickets, we trust that they are for your own household. If you are NOT from the same household, please buy your tickets separately.

 

You are welcome at TR Witte de With theatre 15 minutes before the start of the show. We will escort you to your seat on an individual basis. After the show has started, there is no more access to the theatre.

 

Workshops

At our new location TR Witte de With we have enough space to admit 20 people per workshop whilst easily keeping 1,5 meter distance. Is a workshop sold out? Send an email to pr@shimmyshake.org for a place on the ticket waiting list. If you are on the waiting list, you will be notified first when more tickets become available.

 

Cancellation Policy

In the current circumstances it is possible to continue with the festival live, but we have drawn up the following cancellation conditions to be sure:

 

When a teacher or the Shimmy Shake organization cancels a workshop, those who have already bought a ticket for the workshop in question will receive a full refund. One exception is April Rose, where with your permission we will keep your payment so you can be sure of your place in 2021.

 

The deadline for cancelling Festival tickets is 3 weeks before, for a refund. After that we do not repay anymore. You can try to resell your ticket. You can ask the organization if there are people on the waiting list for a ticket for the workshop in question. In this case, we can possibly mediate in reselling a ticket.

 

Hygiene

Keep 1.5 meters from each other.

Do not shake hands and avoid physical contact with others.

Wash your hands with disinfectant gel upon arrival.

Cough and sneeze into the inside of your elbow.

 

Other measures

Due to the space limitations, the TR Witte de With foyer is only accessible to employees and artists. Unfortunately, this means that there is no possibility to buy drinks or other refreshments at the theatre. Bazar Hotel and restaurant/bar is our designated gathering location. However, like all Cafes under Corona you must sit down and follow the arrows to walk to your seat. We recommend you reserve to be sure of a place. Mention that you come for Shimmy Shake.  

 

The cloakroom is closed. Coats and bags are allowed into the theatre.
