Shimmy Shake Festival 2020 will go on!
Corona rules the roost these days… But we’re glad to announce: Shimmy Shake Festival will go on!We’ll let you know the final program this Friday October 2nd. We can already assure you that Holland’s finest Fusion Belly Dancers will be present!
April Rose Postponed until 2021
Big change to report: with all the travel difficulties for people from the USA, April Rose has decided to postpone her world tour until next year. You can look forward to the amazing April Rose giving her 12-hour Bellydance Cohesion in Shimmy Shake Festival 2021. OPPORTUNITY: we are now programming a 3-hour intensive on the Friday with none other than – TJARDA VAN STRATEN. Yes, she is back! Followed by dinner with the workshop participants and visiting dancers, and our annual meeting.
New Location for the Shimmy Shake Festival
Unfortunately the Maas Theater told us we cannot do the festival live there, due to Corona restrictions. But we have found a new theater, TR Witte de With, who will welcome us. Stay tuned for more information about this new location and how it will work within the regulations for safety.

Meet our Talent Show Talents (part 2)
On June 14th our Talent Show will premiere as a film online! A whole new way of experiencing the Talent Carnival. We are very excited about this, and the talents are already training hard with their coach. All of this to give you the Talent Show we’ve been looking forward to since last year.
