Welcome to our vibrant world of Tribal and Fusion Bellydance! Colorful, exciting, warm, friendly, and diverse—everyone is welcome. All sizes, shapes, ages, and backgrounds are celebrated. Dancing is for everyone!
Our organization has a proud history of talent development, coaching, workshops, events, projects, and festivals—development that, unfortunately, paused in 2020 due to COVID.
Once a large international organization with annual government funding, we were forced to pause during the pandemic. But like a Phoenix rising from the ashes, we are back! Since 2024, however, a small but dedicated group of volunteers has kept the spirit alive in Amsterdam through the Shimmy Shake Soirée.
The Soirée is a cost-covering, spectacular event featuring 14 dance acts, followed by a lively dance party for all. It’s a chance to reconnect, inspire, and celebrate the joy of dance together!
