Discovering new fusion belly dance talents
With our Factor CO program we search for new fusion belly dance talents in The Netherlands and abroad.
In 2015 we selected twelve dancers/groups for the one and only talent search program for developing the skills of Urban Fusion Belly dancers in The Netherlands. Different coaches wil guide these dancers to improve their dance acts and performance skills. They gave a top performance at the final presentation during the Shimmy Shake Talent Show on Sunday 24 May at Maaspodium Rotterdam. This year we have also selected three German dance acts during the first Shimmy Shake Audition during the World of Orient Festival in Hannover. They have won performances during the Shimmy Shake TAlent Show (24 May), during Tribal Festival Hannover (12 - 14 June) and during the second edition of the Shimmy Shake Festival (13 - 15 November). Pre-selection
In 2015 the pre-selection for Factor CO took place in Heerlen, Zutphen and Rotterdam.
Heerlen
The first selection day of Factor CO 2015 took place on the 27th of February 2015 during the International Belly Dance Festival in Hengelo at Cultuurhuis Hengelo.
Zutphen
The second selection day of Factor CO 2015 took place on the 22nd of March 2015 in Zutphen at Sheila's Buikdanscentrum Meijers in Zutphen.
Rotterdam
The third selection day of Factor CO 2015 took place on the 12th of April 2015 in Rotterdam at Maaspodium.
