In February we came together on a beautiful, sunny, Sunday afternoon for the first talent search of 2019. That’s one down, but we still have three more of these amazing afternoons full of dance to go! You can still sign-up for the very last spots in Rotterdam, or join the fun in Eindhoven or Groningen.
The Shimmy Shake Talent Search is for all level dancers because talent and innovation can be found in all dancers. When you sign up for the talent search, you can choose between one of thee categories to participate in. First, we have the classic Talent Search, where you present your skills and choreography to our panel of experts. Not a (trained) bellydancers but keen to incorporate belly dance in your repertoire as a dancer? Choose ‘choosing fusion’ and maybe one of our coaches will help you develop belly dance skills! Are you an advanced or professional bellydancer? Show us your skills in the ‘dancers audition’ and maybe we will ask you to participate in our projects and shows!
A panel of experts will provide extensive constructive feedback to all who would like to receive it (if you just want to dance for a small audience, but not receive feedback, that’s ok as well). These experts will be part of the panel during the upcoming Talent Searches:
Rotterdam: Tjarda van Straten, Agnes van Namen & Indirah
Eindhoven: Sulayca, Vleer, Teuta & Senta Schuijers-Lauterslager
Groningen: Leana, Angela Boeijen & Aruna Nalini
And of course, we will be joined by some special guests during the Talent Search afternoons! We’ll not spill off the secrets already but we can tell some names. In Rotterdam participants and audience will be treated to several auditions by professional dancers! In Eindhoven is the Mohini Shah group one of our guests and panel member Aruna Nalini will perform a solo for us in Groningen!
