Just a few more days, and we will beat the blue(s) together at the Shimmy Shake x Greenstone Belly Dance Hafla! At lot of dancers signed up to perform, so we can expect an amazing program in the afternoon of Saturday January 18th. Let’s dive in some of the things you can expect.
You can expect A LOT of dance of course! We will dance together, and enjoy a total of 14 performances. From solo’s to groups, from classical bellydance to blues fusion, and from beginners to professional dancers. On top of this there will also be two special non-dance performances. Everything promises to be amazing!
Also great, you can win a price during the Hafla! We will play a couple of games, one of them being a scavenger hunt! Siobhan from Greenstone Belly Dance took a dive into Belly Dance knowledge and prepared this especially for the Hafla. So team up and go on that bellydance hunt! The scavenger hunt is not only fun to play, it is also a serious competition! The winning team can win a ticket (one for each team member) for the Talent Carnival on June 7th in Rotterdam.

As you may already know, we open the doors of Cuartito Azul at 14:45 for the Hafla. The program starts at 15:00. Around six we will start the last dance together. Below you will find the program. You do not need to buy a ticket for the afternoon, it is free! But please bring snacks :D

15:00 Introduction of the Hafla, opening with a game
15:15 – 15:45 first block of performances! We’re opening with a performance by our amazing co-host Siobhan!
15:45 - 16:15 Break! Time for the scavenger hunt, to dance or to have a nice drink and snack
16:15 – 16:45 second block of performances, closing off with some live music
16:45 – 17:05 Another break! Time to get more wine, jam together and catch up
17:05 – 17:35 third and last block of performances
17:35 – 18:00-ish dance, dance DANCE! Gail will pick a winner of the scavenger hunt and we will close off the afternoon with a bang.
